Fountain pens come in a variety of different styles and finishes. When it comes to material, various woods are available along with acrylics and ebonite. We currently procure nibs and converters through Edison Pen Company. All other parts of the pen are made from raw material.
Threaded or Push cap? Both styles are possible and can be made. Push fit caps have a delrin ring installed inside the cap to act as the contact material to the pen body. Delrin is a very slick plastic compared to acrylic and we believe the pressure fit against other material will perform better in comparison.
Speaking of caps, they can also be designed to post or have a roll stop. Not every pen includes one or both of these features so it’s important to inquire about it if it’s not clear that a pen does so or not. Currently, we don’t offer clips.
